Helen M. (Bartos) Januska

Helen M.Januska (nee Bartos), 105, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2020. Beloved wife for 59 years of the late William G; loving mother of William J.(Judy) and Ellen Anderson; dear grandmother of William Jr.(Lori), Dawn Anderson Opre, Nikki Anderson and Jeffrey(Denise); great grandmother of Brandon & Heather Januska, Kate & Meghan Opre and AJ & Wyatt Januska. Sister of Louis (Eva) & Edward Bartos (deceased); sister-in-law of Millie Bartos and aunt of many.

Helen lived a long life and will be missed. She worked for over 35 years as an operator at Ohio Bell. She was an avid reader and began her mornings, especially after retirement, working crossword puzzles determined to complete them daily. Loss of eyesight impacted that, so she turned to audio tapes and CDs for her enjoyment. She also enjoyed cooking and traveling before she lost her vision.The family would like to thank her caregivers at Mt. Alverna Village where she spent her final 5 and ½ years and was loved there by many.

Private graveside services will be held Monday, April 20, 2020. A memorial for her will be held sometime in the future.
