Carol Holzheimer, age 93 of Broadview Hts. entered into her Heavenly home on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Her family rejoices in knowing that she is spending her first Christmas in the loving arms of her Lord, and her family who lead her home.
Carol was the beloved wife of Oscar for 73 years; ever-present mother of Alan Holzheimer (Emmalee), Gary Holzheimer, Richard Holzheimer (Susan), Elizabeth Fava (Alan), Miriam Bloch (Steven), and Caroline Trapp (Richard). Devoted grandmother of Matthew Holzheimer, Amanda Henry, Jason Holzheimer, Cole Holzheimer, Nora Holzheimer, Devin Fava (Amanda), Quillen Rahal (Jordan), Tristan Fava, Richard Jr. Trapp (Tiffany), Joshua Trapp, Carrie McCarley (Mitch); Proud Great-grandmother of 5. Dear sister of Jack Petsche (Dorothy, deceased) and Marjorie Rupp (William), the late Frederick (Elaine) and infant triplet sisters, Anne Marie, Beatrice Anne and Catherine Anne.
Carol focused all of her energy and love on her family, prayerfully. Lead by her Lord and the example of her Heavenly Mother, Mary, and her own earthly parents John and Statia Petsche (Barth). Her gentle smiles, guidance, kindness, and joy in simply being in the presence of her family will be deeply missed, but will live on in their hearts and memories until they are all reunited, again.
Carol was a parishioner of Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary for 56 years and spent her final days in the care of the Thomas P. Perciak Family Residence Hospice Center.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately, in celebration of Carol's home-going, at Church of the Assumption, Broadview Hts. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Northfield.
